Privacy Policy

The short version: your coaching and training data powers your scores and plans — nothing else. We never sell your data and we never show ads.
1. Who we are
AthletIQX ("we", "us") provides the AthletIQX iOS application — an AI-powered coaching platform that turns your coaching calls and training data into readiness scores, personalized training plans, and adaptive recommendations. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@athletiqx.club.
2. Information we collect
Coaching call data
When you participate in coaching calls (pre-workout, post-workout, or on-demand), the call transcript is processed to extract training-relevant information you share — such as effort level (RPE), sleep quality and hours, energy, stress, soreness, and workout details. This data computes your scores, adapts your training plan, and personalizes your coaching experience.
- Score computation happens on your device.
- Summarized metrics (score values, workout summaries — not raw audio) are sent to our backend to generate plans, recommendations, and coaching-call context.
- Your coaching data is never used for advertising and never sold.
Account information
Email address and display name (or your Sign in with Apple identifier) to create and secure your account.
Phone number (optional)
If you enable coaching calls, we store the phone number you provide and use it solely to place pre/post-workout coaching calls. Calls are placed via Twilio and voiced via ElevenLabs. Call transcripts are processed to extract training-relevant information you state on the call (e.g., effort, soreness, sleep, plan changes) so your plan and scores can reflect it.
Contacts
If you choose to save your coach's number, the app opens the system contact sheet — we never read your contacts, and the save happens through iOS itself.
Athlete profile & usage
Sports, goals, experience level, training preferences, schedule preferences, session feedback (RPE, soreness), and in-app activity needed to personalize plans and recommendations. We use diagnostic logs to keep the service reliable.
3. How we use information
- Compute readiness, recovery, training load, and longevity scores
- Generate and adapt your training plan and recommendations
- Place coaching calls you've opted into, and apply what you tell your coach
- Improve model prompts and product quality using aggregated, de-identified data
4. AI processing
Plan generation, recommendations, and transcript understanding use large language models (Anthropic Claude) and retrieval services. Only the context needed for the task is sent (score summaries, workout summaries, profile context, call transcripts for calls you participate in). Our AI providers process this data to provide the service and do not use it to train their models under our agreements.
5. Storage, security & retention
- Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres) and transmitted over TLS.
- Backend access is restricted by row-level security keyed to your account.
- We retain personal data while your account is active. Delete your account in Profile → Account, or email us — personal data is deleted within 30 days.
6. Sharing
We share data only with the processors that make the product work: Supabase (storage), Anthropic (AI), Twilio (calls), ElevenLabs (voice), and Apple (Sign in with Apple). We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if legally required.
7. Your choices & rights
- Calls: disable coaching calls or remove your phone number in Settings.
- Access / export / deletion: email support@athletiqx.club — we honor GDPR and CCPA rights where applicable.
8. Children
AthletIQX is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Not medical advice
Scores, plans, and coaching are for fitness guidance only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a physician before starting a training program.
10. Changes
We'll update this page when the policy changes and note the date above. Material changes are announced in the app.
